R&D Laboratory
At Daphne’s R&D Facility in Lausanne, a 300m2 industrial space serves as the R&D HQ and collaborative meeting space, equipped with state-of-the-art pollutant monitoring systems, electronic equipment, computer simulations and a well-equipped garage for rapid prototyping. The R&D Facility houses a small-scale evaluation setup that can replicate any recipe of exhaust/flue gas with any pollutants (e.g., CH4, SOx, NOx, N2O, etc.). Different exhaust gas cleaning technologies are installed on this setup and evaluated for their capacity to reduce GHG and toxic pollutants. When the exhaust gas cleaning technology has been well understood, validated and demonstrated on the small-scale setup, it is scaled up and implemented on Daphne’s next testing rig, which produces exhaust/flue gas at a more than 15kW scale.
Large-scale Testing Facility
Established in January 2022, Daphne’s Facility in Fribourg initially served as an assembly hall and testing centre for our 1.5MW Containerized SulPure® Prototype, completed in June 2022. We also use this space to assemble and test our full-scale, in-house power supplies.
