Daphne Technology announces the establishment of its new subsidiary in the US. The expansion into the United States comes with the appointment of a distinguished industry expert, Jamie Brick, who will spearhead our operations from the heart of the North American energy sector, Houston, Texas. Committed to combating methane emissions, this move aligns with tightening US regulations, marking a pivotal step in our mission to make a tangible impact on reducing pollution.

DNV has granted an Approval in Principle (AiP) to Daphne Technology (DT) for the onboard installation of its methane abatement technology, SlipPure^TM. The AiP was presented to Daphne Technology, today at the Posidonia Trade Fair in Athens, June 7^th 2022.

By 2050, the International Energy Agency (IEA) believes that almost half the toxic emissions reductions will come from technologies currently at the demonstration or prototype phase. Thus, investing today in technological innovations is a must to meet the net-zero goals of the future.

2010-2019 was the warmest decade ever recorded, disrupting national economies and affecting lives. To mitigate climate change, global warming must be reduced and toxic emissions prevented. The Paris Agreement adopted by 196 parties in 2015, and the IMO's GHG strategy leads the way in the transition towards net-zero industries. The Paris Agreement and the IMO go hand in hand to Net Zero by 2050, aiming to hand over a green planet to future generations.

Our Chief Technology Officer was instrumental in winning the Horizon 2020 €2.5 million grant from European Union's research and innovation program.

Daphne Technology, the climate tech startup eliminating air pollution and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from ships, is launching a crowdfunding campaign this May.

Daphne Technology, a young climate tech company, is about to release the world's first technology to provide a single solution for all forms of pollutant emissions in flue gas: SOx, NOx, CH4, N2O, and CO2. The CO2 solution is our latest development, and the initial results are promising. Our CO2 solution is probably the only technology suitable for marine applications as it requires minimal or no storage.
