Born in Germany and raised by Turkish parents, Dr. Cansunur Demirci has always believed that she one day will help maintain a green future.

But before that, she undertook five years studying chemistry, where she discovered a passion for the industrial environment. After a master's degree in materials and nanochemistry, she worked more than a year for Continental, a German multinational automotive parts manufacturing company, before realising that she wants to be given more responsibilities. In 2016, Dr. Demirci decided to pursue her career in this field and did a PhD in heterogeneous catalysis, with a focus on the removal of CO2, CO and methane emissions in Genoa, Italy.

A perfect match with Daphne's solution!

Thanks to her strong expertise and knowledge, Dr. Demirci has joined the company as our Research & Development Manager. Today, she contributes to the improvement of our universal green converter and the scale-up of our technology. Her profound belief in improving our sustainable future has proven her ability to understand the importance of reacting immediately to global warming.

We, at Daphne, know she will actively contribute to our main goal;

"Clean air. Clean seas"

Transitioning from startup to scaleup; CCO Frode Helland-Evebø
