Success Story: Daphne Technology

International Cleantech Network has defined our technology as disruptive and revolutionary for the maritime industry.

November 19 2020

International Cleantech Network describes Daphne Technology as promising for a brighter future in the maritime industry. Indeed, as 90% of the global trade is made by sea transport with millions of tonnes of toxic pollutants released by ships in the atmosphere, big measures have to be taken. Positively, the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) has set regulations, and Daphne Technology has developed a revolutionary solution.

With its circular process, Daphne converts unwanted toxic components in the exhaust gas, such as NOx, SOx, and CH4 into a non-harmful upcycled product, a valuable by-product; agricultural fertiliser.

It is for these exact reasons that Daphne has been nominated 3 years in a row as one of the 100 best Swiss start-ups as well as in the top 3 of the start-up in the cleantech category.
