As a part of a global strategy, an experienced commercial leader with a proven track record of commercialising new technology to the market is vital. With substantial experience within the maritime industry and an extensive leading commercial portfolio, Mr Frode Helland-Evebø joined the company in 2020. Frode is a commercial expert with more than 25 years of experience with leading national and international corporations. He started his own consultancy business in June 2020, came in contact with Daphne just after and took on the role of Chief Commercial Officer in October 2020.

Before starting his venture, he led the Norwegian office and the global marine sales division for Pacific Green Marine Technologies. Prior to that, he was the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer in Clean Marine, responsible for commercialising its technology. Between 2017 and 2019, he drove the Clean Marine's growth worldwide by generating more than €200 million in incremental sales, helping Clean Marine become one of the world's largest scrubber manufacturers.

Frode is based in Oslo, Norway. Since he came on board, he has established our commercial team in Norway and will scale up in line with the strategies and plans developed for a global company. For over 150 years, Norway has been a major player on the world's oceans. Norway is also one of the world's largest shipping nations, leading the way towards green shipping as a world leader in developing low- and zero-emission solutions. We believe this is a perfect match and a natural second home to Daphne.

Through his long experience in the maritime sector and different leadership roles, Frode has a demonstrated history of developing and generating business for start-ups and larger companies. With his passion, focus, and dedication, he has built successful teams, developed and implemented strategies, processes and tools for sales growth.

Over the years, Frode has built up an extensive industry stakeholder network which has already been and will be a valuable network for Daphne as we advance.

Daphne is excited to have attracted such a giant from the industry. We believe this is confirmation of our breakthrough technology as Frode firmly sees the technology as a game-changer for the industry. We are confident Frode brings the skill-set and the experience to achieve Daphne's goals and contribute to significant growth.
